HOW THIS WORKS
Federated, not framed.
Each product page on mohistory.org pulls product data from MHS's existing Shopify storefront via Shopify's public Storefront API (already in production at missouri-history-museum-shop.myshopify.com). The native MHS shopping experience reads from one source of truth — the Shop team's existing Shopify admin — so inventory, pricing, and product copy never go stale. The Add-to-bag flow handoffs to Shopify's hosted Cart and Checkout pages, where the existing tax + shipping + Member discount logic continues to run.
